About Us

Dinghy Supplies was founded in 1974 by Pat Murphy a keen and successfull racer who has since gone on to complete a 10 year circumnavigation of the globe with his wife Olivia on thier yacht Aldebaran.

While the business was initially founded to serve the needs of Ireland's dinghy sailing community the needs of the the yachting community were soon being addressed, this led to the forming of the Sutton Marine arm of the company in the 1980's.

Throughout over 36 years in business our range and knowledge has expanded leading to the current day where we are one of Ireland's longest running and best stocked chandleries.

We really do endeavour to carry everything "FROM A NEEDLE TO AN ANCHOR".

With extensive knowledge and years of experience we are able to serve the needs of the whole boating community whether it be for an Optimist or a 50 foot yacht our staff stand ready to assist you, whatever your boating needs.
